Heyv Kurdi Kids is a children’s educational application operated by Rodi Abbas / Heyv Kurdi Kids in Sweden (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices available to parents and legal guardians.

The app is designed to help children learn Kurdish through lessons, words, letters, numbers, stories, games, voice playback, writing practice, progress tracking, and printable activities. A parent or legal guardian should supervise the child’s use of the app and the initial profile setup.

Parents and guardians should use a nickname and should not enter the child’s full legal name or other unnecessary identifying information.

The app may also store profile and learning information such as:

1.2 Anonymous account identifier

The app uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication. This creates a random anonymous user identifier so that the app can associate the child’s profile and learning progress with the correct installation or anonymous account. The app does not require the child to provide an email address, password, or phone number.

1.3 Technical and service information

Google services used by the app may automatically process limited technical information needed to provide, secure, and improve their services. Depending on the service, this may include:

The app does not ask the child to provide precise location, contacts, photos, videos, payment-card details, or microphone recordings.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

We do not sell children’s personal information.

3. Firebase Services

Some information is also stored locally on the device using app preferences so that the app can continue to work and remember progress.

Google generally processes Firebase customer data on our behalf under its applicable terms. Firebase may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. Firebase states that supported services use encryption in transit and that Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore encrypt data at rest.
